Magazines offer an advantage over media like newspaper advertising as they tend to be printed on a much better paper stock. This means that text is sharper as ‘creep’ is much lower and colours are brighter and more closely match that of the original artwork. This enhanced paper stock also makes for better reproduction of photography and detailed images, so allowing for a different style of advert to that achievable in newsprint.
