In the online advertising space, ads have been evolving over the last 15 years from the early text to highly interactive video, with users generally responding better to visual material. Video provides an ideal platform to promote products that may not be as desirable through written context. People are more likely to watch video content a second time, rather than re-read text.

Especially as 77% of retailers believe that the strike action may discourage consumers from shopping online in the run up to Christmas, according to the findings of a new survey.
